PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 588 <br />WHEREAS, the application of Standard Oil Company of <br />California, 225 Bush Street, San Francisco, <br />for a Conditional Use Permit in order to con- <br />struct an auto service station on a .39 acre <br />parcel located on the southwest corner of <br />Santa Rita Road and Valley Avenue, in a C -N <br />District, has come before this Commission: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: <br />that the above - named application be granted with <br />the following conditions: <br />1. A detailed site drainage plan must be submitted <br />to and approved by the City Engineer prior to the <br />issuance of a Building Permit. <br />2. The lighting of said auto service station and <br />site shall be effected so as to, in the opinion <br />of the City Engineer, eliminate all undesirable <br />glare. <br />3. All signs installed as a part of said auto <br />service station must meet the requirements <br />of Ordinance No. 309, and must receive approval <br />of the Public Works Department prior to in- <br />stallation. Paraphernalia and festoons shall <br />be considered signs. <br />4. The operation of said auto service station shall <br />be restricted to the sale of automotive products <br />and the service and repair of motor vehicles. <br />5. The architecture of said auto service station <br />shall conform to the architecture of the other <br />buildings located in the C -N District in which <br />said station is located. <br />Dated: July 13, 1966 <br />ATTEST: <br />////2 <br />ames M.
