PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 316 <br />WHEREAS, the application of the Pleasanton Women's Club for a Conditional <br />Use Permit in order to construct a children's playground on a parcel <br />of property located on the northwest corner of Regalia and Kottinger Avenues, <br />and owned by the City of Pleasanton, in an R -1 District, has come before this <br />Commission; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED, that the above -named Conditional Use Permit is hereby granted <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The turfed area as indicated on the approved plan on file in <br />City Hall shall be fully sprinklered and additional hose bibbs <br />installed for easy watering of other planting areas; all to <br />the satisfaction of the City Engineer. <br />2. The locations of the "tot lot" sand pool area and the shuffleboard <br />area with pergola shall be exchanged, as indicated on the approved <br />plan on file in City Hall. <br />3. Sanitary sewer service and permanent rest rooms shall be installed <br />to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. <br />4. All necessary permits shall be obtained for construction of the <br />rest rooms and pergola. <br />5. All redrock paths, as indicated on the approved plan, shall be <br />constructed with header boards. <br />6. Details of construction of all apparatus and fences indicated on <br />the approved plan shall be submitted for approval by the City <br />Engineer prior to construction. <br />7. A drinking fountain shall be installed within the park area. Said <br />installation shall be of a type and in a place approved by the City <br />Engineer. <br />8. Unless existing, all Eucalyptus and Modesto Ash trees indicated on <br />the approved plan shall be eliminated and replaced by a specie of <br />tree approved by the City Street Tree Committee. <br />9. A ground cover for the picnic areas indicated on the approved plan <br />shall be determined by the applicant, approved by the City Engineer, <br />and installed. <br />10. Any proposed changes in the approved park development plan on file <br />with the City, other than those required by the Conditional Use <br />Permit, must be referred to the City Planning Commission for specific <br />approval prior to their implementation. <br />11. Said Conditional Use Permit shall be for a period of five years from <br />the date of issuance. <br />12. Arrangements for liability insurance for said park area, after <br />completion, shall be submitted by the applicant to the City Council <br />for approval. <br />13. The City of Pleasanton will not assume any responsibility for the <br />maintenance of said park area until the entire approved plan has <br />been completed to the satisfaction of the City, and until all of the <br />above conditions have been met. <br />Dated: June 24, 1964 <br />ATT S/f : <br />ames M.
