CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-369 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF REIMBURSEMENT TO SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR PARKING <br /> LOT IMPROVEMENTS FOR FOOTHILL AND AMADOR HIGH SCHOOLS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a meeting was held on February 20, 1986 attended by 17 <br /> neighbors, the principals of Foothill and Amador High <br /> Schools, the Police Chief, and the City Manager to <br /> discuss alternative solutions to the parking problem; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it was agreed by all who attended that the major cause <br /> of the problem was the shortage of convenient parking <br /> spaces on the school grounds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it was concluded that Amador High School requires 75 <br /> additional parking stalls and Foothill High School <br /> requires 50 additional parking stalls. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The appropriation of one-half of the total parking <br /> lot improvements, which shall not exceed $14,000, go to <br /> the School District to cover the City's contribution to <br /> the parking lot improvements <br /> <br /> Section 2: The City Manager has been authorized to reimburse the <br /> School District for the City's share of the parking lot <br /> improvements, not to exceed $14,000, or one-half of the <br /> total parking lot improvement, whichever is less. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 5, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Mercer, Mohr and Mayor Brandes, <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmembers Wood and Butle~~/~j~J~j~,L~f~j~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> F <br /> R~NK C.
