CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-355 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF RECONSTRUCTION OF AUGUSTINE STREET, CIP <br /> NO. 86-07, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO O. <br /> C. JONES AND SONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by O. C. Jones and Sons on the reconstruction of <br /> Augustine Street, CIP No. 86-07, has been satisfactorily <br /> completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the reconstruction of Augustine Street is <br /> hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $95,935.89 in favor of O. C. <br /> Jones and Sons in satisfaction of the final progress <br /> payment for the above-accepted work on CIP No. 86-07. <br /> Ten percent (10%) of the total contract or $14,868.04 <br /> will be retained until thirty (30) days after filing of <br /> the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 2, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Mercer, Mohr and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Butler and Woo.~~/~~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> FRANK C.
