PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1905 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FOR VALLEY <br />COMMUNITY CHURCH AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-80-4. <br />WHEREAS, Valley Community Church has applied for an amendment to <br />the General Plan which would change the land use designa- <br />tion of a 2.32± acre site located on the north and west <br />of their proposed church site at the northeast end of <br />Del Valle Parkway approximately 200' east of Harvest Road <br />from "public" to "High Density Residential;" and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission took public testimony concerning <br />this application and reviewed all reports and exhibits <br />on September 10, 1980; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the proposed <br />change would not be detrimental to the orderly development <br />of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />- Section 1. That this Commission recommends to the City Council <br />that the proposed general plan amendment, GP-80-4 be <br />approved changing the land use designation from "Public <br />and Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential," rather <br />than "High Density Residential" as requested. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 10th day of September 1980 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Jamieson <br />DATE: September 10, 1980 <br />ATTEST: <br />Robert J.
