PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1906 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION AS FILED FOR CASE GP-80-5, A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON. WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for a general plan amendment to change the land use designation of 18 separate sites and to change the Circulation Element to show the extension of Railroad Avenue; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held September 10, 1980 at which time all pertinent documents and testimony were reviewed; and WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council o£ the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its meeting of September 10, 1980 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4(e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed environmental assessment, which has previously been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project and what mitigation measure, if any, must be undertaken to ensure that the project will not have a significant impact on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission reviewed the contents of Resolution No. 77-66 (Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures) as they pertain to the requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports and determines that the project requested in GP-80-5 would not have any significant effects on the environment to require the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report. ///
