PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1910 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-80-9. <br />WHEREAS, Robert E. Frank has applied to rezone from the C-F <br />(Commercial Freeway) District to the C-C (Central <br />Commercial) District the 2.54± acre site located at <br />the southeast corner of Foothill Road and Stoneridge <br />Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held October 8, 1980 at which time <br />all pertinent testimony and documents were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done <br />pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and <br />Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of October 8, 1980 <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration <br />in a report from the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development dated October 8, 1980 regarding the afore- <br />mentioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, .the..Planxhl.ng Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determination required by Section 5.4(e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed environmental assessment, which has previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the <br />public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appro- <br />priate for the project and what mitigation measure, if any, <br />must be undertaken to ensure that the project will not have <br />a significant impact upon the environment. <br />
