PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 1910 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-80-9. WHEREAS, Robert E. Frank has applied to rezone from the C-F (Commercial Freeway) District to the C-C (Central Commercial) District the 2.54± acre site located at the southeast corner of Foothill Road and Stoneridge Drive; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held October 8, 1980 at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were heard; and WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of October 8, 1980 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and Community Development dated October 8, 1980 regarding the afore- mentioned project; and WHEREAS, .the..Planxhl.ng Commission was advised by the City Attorney of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative Declaration and the determination required by Section 5.4(e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed environmental assessment, which has previously been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appro- priate for the project and what mitigation measure, if any, must be undertaken to ensure that the project will not have a significant impact upon the environment.
