PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COL'PITY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1922 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION DENYING <br />AN APPEAL OF VALLEY EMPIRE ROOFING AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE AP-80-11 <br />WHEREAS, Valley Empire Roofing, Inc. has appealed the decision <br />of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Pleasanton <br />denying a home occupation permit for a roofing business <br />at their residence located at 5504 Corte Sierra; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, there was a public hearing on December 10, 1980 at which <br />time public testimony and exhibits were considered indi- <br />cating problems of noise, congestion and other nuisance <br />aspects of the commercial use of the property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />_ Section 1. The Planning Commission denies the appeal of Valley <br />Empire Roofing, Inc. to conduct a home occupation for <br />their roofing business at their residence located at <br />5504 Corte Sierra, Pleasanton, because this use is <br />inconsistent with the purposes of the R-1 zoning <br />district and the home occupation ordinance. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission in denyin99~~ this appeal ordered <br />the abatement of the business from SSI04 Corte Sierra to take <br />not longer than 30 days from the dated of the above public <br />hearing. <br />Section 3.
