PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1926 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-80-12 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has applied to zone a portion of the recently annexed property included in Annexation 78 consisting of approximately 127 acres located east of the extension of Valley Avenue between Bernal Avenue and the Arroyo Del Valle to the R-1-6500, R-1-7500, R-1-8500, R-1-10,000 R-1-20,000 and Public and Institutional District or any other district consistent with the general plan; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held December 10, 1980 at which time all pertinent documents and testimony were received; and WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted -- by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its meeting of December 10, 1980 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and Community Development dated December 10, 1980 regarding the afore- mentioned project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of its responsibilites in reviewing the proposed Negative Dec- laration and the determination required by Section 5.4 (e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed environment assessment, which has previously been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project and what mitigation measure, if any must be undertaken to ensure that the project will not have a significant impact upon the environment.
