PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1931 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION WAIVING PARCEL MAP REQUIREMENTS FOR 2.68+_ ACRES ADJACENT TO THE YOUTH SPORTS PARK. WHEREAS, T. K. McManus has filed a request to split 2.68+ acres from his remaining parcel of land adjacent and 'north of the Sports Park and east of the Crocker Homes property for ultimate transfer to Crocker Homes; and WHEREAS, Crocker Homes will subdivide the parcel into ten (10) lots to build the homes recently approved by the City Council at this year's RAP approval process; and WHEREAS, the reason for requesting the parcel map waiver is to allow for a three-way transfer by which McManus will transfer a portion of the parcel worth approximately $55,000 to the City of Pleasanton in compliance with his promise to donate to the City $50,000 plus interest for tennis courts; and WHEREAS, the City will in turn transfer the property to Crocker Homes for the equivalent in cash; and WHEREAS, the transfer will be handled by a title company under an escrow agreement for conveyance and is for the convenience of the developer and owner. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton waives the requirement for filing parcel map as requested by T. K. McManus subject to the following condition because the land division meets the requirements of the City's Ordinance Code (Section 2-3.09), with the understanding that the City will transfer its parcel to Crocker Homes immediately thereafter: 1. No development shall take place on the 2.68+ acre unless and until a tentative and final subdivision map has been approved by the City of Pleasanton. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. ///
