PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF AT.AMF.DA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1963 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-80-15. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone the approxi- <br />mately 43 acre parcel located 830 ft. south of the existing <br />City limit line between Foothill Road and I-680 to any <br />zoning district consistent with the Low Density Residential <br />designation of the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 11, 1981 at which <br />time all pertinent documents and testimony were reviewed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of March 11, 1981 <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration <br />in a report from the Director of Planning, and Cgmmunity <br />Development dated March 11, 1981 regarding the afore- <br />mentioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 (e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed environmental assessmen, which had previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the <br />public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appro- <br />priate for the project and what mitigation measures, if <br />any, must be undertaken to ensure that the project will <br />not have a significant impact upon the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />
