PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF AT.AMF.DA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1963 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-80-15. WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone the approxi- mately 43 acre parcel located 830 ft. south of the existing City limit line between Foothill Road and I-680 to any zoning district consistent with the Low Density Residential designation of the General Plan; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 11, 1981 at which time all pertinent documents and testimony were reviewed; and WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of March 11, 1981 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning, and Cgmmunity Development dated March 11, 1981 regarding the afore- mentioned project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 (e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed environmental assessmen, which had previously been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appro- priate for the project and what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to ensure that the project will not have a significant impact upon the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
