PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1978 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-81-4 WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has applied for an Ordinance Code amendment to Article 19, 25, 26 and 30 of Chapter 2, Title II which would allow administrative approval of a time extension for projects which now have a one-year expiration; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 8, 1981 at which time all pertinent documents and testimony were reviewed; and WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Counci], of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of April 8, 1961 - received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declar- ation in a report from the Director of Planning and Community Development dated April 8, 1981 regarding the aforementioned project; and - WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Nega- tive Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 (e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which had previously been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine _ if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project ///
