PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1984 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF <br />THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (EIR) PREPARED <br />FOR CASE GP-80-8, A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for a general plan <br />amendment to change the land use and circulation <br />element consistent of nineteen changes in land use <br />designation of particular areas and three changes in <br />the circulation patterns proposed in the Pleasanton <br />General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was prepared for <br />case GP-80-8; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 13, 1981 at which time <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on <br />the Environmental Impact Report (EIR); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the Environmental <br />Impact Report prepared for this land use change to <br />determine if the proposals would have any significant <br />impact on the environment, and if so, whether mitigation <br />measures or overriding considerations may be present. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />certifies that the Environmental Impact Report for <br />project GP-80-8 has been completed in compliance with <br />the provisions of the California Environmental Quality <br />Act, that the Commission certifies that it has reviewed <br />and considered the information in the EIR, that the <br />Commission finds that there are potentially significant <br />impacts associated with this project relating to demo- <br />graphics, land use, traffic, transportation, noise and <br />public facilities; but that the Commission further finds <br />that the recommended conditions of approval or recommended <br />future actions by the City, as listed in Resolution No. <br />1985 as Conditions No. 1-6, would reduce those impacts <br />to an insignificant level. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 13th day of May 1981 by the following vote: <br />
