PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1984 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (EIR) PREPARED FOR CASE GP-80-8, A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for a general plan amendment to change the land use and circulation element consistent of nineteen changes in land use designation of particular areas and three changes in the circulation patterns proposed in the Pleasanton General Plan; and WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was prepared for case GP-80-8; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 13, 1981 at which time the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the Environmental Impact Report (EIR); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the Environmental Impact Report prepared for this land use change to determine if the proposals would have any significant impact on the environment, and if so, whether mitigation measures or overriding considerations may be present. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton certifies that the Environmental Impact Report for project GP-80-8 has been completed in compliance with the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act, that the Commission certifies that it has reviewed and considered the information in the EIR, that the Commission finds that there are potentially significant impacts associated with this project relating to demo- graphics, land use, traffic, transportation, noise and public facilities; but that the Commission further finds that the recommended conditions of approval or recommended future actions by the City, as listed in Resolution No. 1985 as Conditions No. 1-6, would reduce those impacts to an insignificant level. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
