PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1987 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNIIG COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A <br />GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FILED UNDER CASE GP-81-1 <br />FOR PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has applied to change the <br />land use designation of an approximately 573 acre site <br />bounded by Hopyard Road on the west, Arroyo Mocho on <br />the south, SPRR tracks on the east and a line approxi- <br />mately 1400' south of Highway I-580 on the north from <br />"General and Limited Industrial" and "Commercial and <br />Offices" to "Industrial, Commercial and Offices;" and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 13, 1981 at which time <br />all public testimony and documents were considered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />recommends approval of the application of Prudential <br />Insurance Company for a General Plan Amendment as <br />_ filed under case GP-81-1 subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. That the development shall be substantially as <br />shown on the site map Exhibit "A" on file with <br />the Planning Division. <br />2. That the developer enter into an agreement with <br />the City to enter into an assessment district or <br />districts for the construction of all of the <br />facilities necessary for the amelioration of <br />traffic congestion caused by development of the <br />subject property. These facilities may be those <br />discussed in the North Pleasanton Traffic Studies, <br />Volumes I and II, or of er facilities deemed neces- <br />sary by t e City. The agreement shall be entered <br />into prior to the approval of zoning on the subject <br />property. <br />3. That prior to the submittal of an application for <br />rezoning of subject property, the developer shall <br />fund (or participate in the funding of) a compre- <br />hensive water study of the North Pleasanton Area <br />to identify short and long-term improvements neces- <br />sary to achieve adequate water supply and pressure. <br />In order to achieve timely completion of such improve- <br />ments concurrent with the development of the subject <br />site, the developer shall enter into an agreement to <br />pay his appropriate share of the cost of the water <br />facilities necessary to serve the subject property or <br />/// <br />
