PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1993 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR <br />ED COVEY & BILL SKINNER AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />UP-80-7 <br />WHEREAS, Ed Covey and Bill Skinner have applied for a conditional <br />use permit which would allow the operation of a bar at <br />3506-B Old Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned C-C (Central Commercial) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 13, 1981 at which time <br />all public testimony and exhibits were considered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton makes <br />the following findings with regard to case UP-80-7: <br />A. That the proposed location of the use is in <br />accordance with the objectives of this Chapter <br />and the purposes of the district in which the <br />site is located. <br />B. That the location of the conditional uses and <br />conditions under which it would be operated and <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the. health, <br />safety, or welfare or be materially injurious to <br />properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use permit will <br />comply with each of the applicable provisions <br />of this Chapter. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />approves case UP-80-7 subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That approval of this use permit is for an 1800 sq. ft. <br />or smaller cocktail lounge at the location shown on the <br />attached site map. Said cocktail lounge shall have no <br />more than 50 seats and no food except bar snacks shall <br />be served on the premised at any time. <br />2. That the applicant and the owners of the shopping <br />center shall acknowledge that they are aware that <br />- upon violation of any conditions of this permit, <br />the permit is subject to immediate suspension and <br />that it may be revoked after public hearing as <br />/// <br />
