PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1998 <br />A RE OLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A <br />MITI ATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE <br />PUD- 1-2 FOR FARMERS INSURANCE COMPANY <br />WHEREAS, Farm rs Insurance Group has applied for a PUD (Planned <br />Unit Development-Commercial and Offices) site plan and <br />arch'tectural approval for an approximately 148,000 sq. <br />ft., four-story office building and a 4416 sq. ft. branch <br />clai s office on an approximately 14 acre site located on <br />Dubl'n Canyon Road and the west side of Foothill Road, <br />near the intersection of I-580; and <br />WHEREAS, a pu <br />all <br />WHEREAS, said <br />purs <br />Proc <br />Plea <br />WHEREAS, the <br />rece <br />Decl <br />Comm <br />afor <br />~lic hearing was held on May 20, 1981, at which time <br />pertinent exhibits and testimony were considered; and <br />proposal was based upon an Initial Study done <br />cant to the Environmental impact Guidelines and <br />adures adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />canton by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />?lanning Commission, at its meeting of May 13, 1981, <br />ived the Initial Study and proposed Mitigated Negative <br />gyration in a report from the Director of Planning and <br />inity Development dated May 13, 1981, regarding the <br />'mentioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the lanning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of <br />its esponsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Decl ration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 <br />(e) f Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS,_each mem3~er of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copi s of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the roposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the ublic was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />prop sed environmental assessment, which had previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of <br />the ublic hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Plan ing Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guid lines and Processing Procedures for the evalutaion <br />of p ojects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />f <br />
