PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 1999 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL FOR A PUD FOR FARMERS INSURANCE FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-2. WHEREAS, Farmers Insurance Group has applied for a PUD (Planned Unit Development-Commercial and Offices) site plan and architectural approval for an approximately 148,000 sq. ft., four-story office building and a 4,416 sq. ft, branch claims office on an approximately 14 acre site located on Dublin Canyon Road and the west side of Foothill Road, near the intersection of I-580;- and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 20, 1981 at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were considered. Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City o£ Pleasanton recommends approval of case PUD-81-2 subject to the following conditions: 1. That the development be substantially as shown on the development plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Division. 2. That approval of this case does not constitute approval of the design of the branch claims office and that separate plans shall be submitted to the Design Review Board for approval prior to construction of that building. 3. That the color of the structure, including the two penthouses, shall be submitted to the Planning Division for approval and that the composition of the penthouses shall be subject to the approval of the Planning Division. Said approvals are required prior to issuance of a building permit. 4. That the applicant submit plans to the Fire Department for the proposal under review. One set of plans shall be retained by the Fire Prevention Bureau for record purposes. 5. That the application as proposed will be subject to additional requirements under the City Fire Code. The applicant is requested to contact the Fire Pre- vention Bureau for more detailed information.
