PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITX OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTX OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1802 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING <br />THE APPLICATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION FILED <br />UNDER RZ-79-15. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has applied to rezone a roughly <br />95 acre area located east of the developed portion of <br />the Fairlands area (bounded generally by I-580 on the <br />north, the City limits on the east, the Arroyo Mocho <br />on the south and existing development on the west) from <br />the R-1-6500 District to the R-1-10,000 District or <br />any other zoning district consistent with the General <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to review <br />this application on October 10, 1979; and <br />WHEREAS, all pertinent reports, documents, maps and testimony were <br />reviewed. <br />WHEREAS, the property owner had previously requested a continuance <br />of this matter from the August 8, 1979 meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined there is a need <br />in the City of Pleasanton for homes on larger lot sizes; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered the location of current <br />utilities on the property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends that Tract 3148 <br />be rezoned to the R-1-8500 District and that the balance <br />of the property be rezoned to the R-1-10,000 District. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 10th day of October, 1979 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Leppert <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: Secretary Harris <br />DATE: October 10, 1979 <br />ATTEST: <br />Robert J.
