PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1819a <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON ISSUING A POLICY STATEMENT <br />CONCERNING THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT (CBD) <br />AND OLD TOWN PLEASANTON. <br />WHEREAS, a Downtown Study and General Plan Amendment application <br />of Harris Realty were considered by the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS, because of future changes, traffic patterns may occur <br />because of changes made as a result of the Railroad <br />Track Consolidation east-west overcrossing at I-680 <br />and construction of a new Regional Shopping Center as <br />well as the fact that there are 40+ acres of vacant <br />or underdeveloped office-commercial property in the <br />CBD of Pleasanton, the Planning Commission does hereby <br />issue the following policy statement: <br />"There be no changes in the zoning or General Plan <br />designation of the CBD or Old Town Pleasanton until <br />such time as Stoneridge is open for one year, east- <br />west overcrossing at I-680 has been completed and it is <br />determined that the Railroad Track Consolidation is <br />going to be made. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />Section 2.
