PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORfdIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1829 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />DENIAL OF A GENERAL PLAN ANIENDMENT FILED BY JOHN AND <br />JOAN CAROLINE UNDER CASE GP-79-25. <br />WHEREAS, John and Joan Caroline have applied for a general plan <br />amendment which would comprehensively change the land <br />use designation of a 69 acre site located on the <br />south side of Valley Avenue immediately easterly of the <br />residences along Kolln Street from "General and Limited <br />Industrial" to "General and Limited Industrial/Commercial <br />and Offices/Medium and/or High Density Residential;" and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on December 11, 1979 before <br />the Planning Commission at which time all reports, <br />documents and testimony were reviewed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission denies approval of this appli- <br />cation finding that the site is not appropriate for <br />residential use. <br />Section 2.
