PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1831 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, COUNTY OF ALAMEDA APPROVING THE USE PERMIT FOR EARL ADAMS FILED UNDER UP-79-25 WHEREAS, Doug Okazaki and Earl Adams have applied for a blanket conditional use permit to allow the establishment of an auto- mobile repair service shop in the commercial service building under construction at 3687 Old Santa Rita Road; and WHEREAS, zoning for property is C-S (Commercial-Service) District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission took public testimony concerning the proposed use. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-79-25 subject to the following conditions because all of the required findings could be made: Findings A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives df this chapter and the purposes of the district in which the site is located. B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or main- tained will not be detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare, or materially injurious to the prop- erties or improvements in the vicinity. C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. Conditions 1. That approval is granted for "Automobile repairing, overhauling and painting" in any part of the building located at 3687 Old Santa Rita Road. 2. That the development be substantially as shown on the site plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Division. 3. That all repair work be done completely indoors. 4. That there be no outdoor storage of vehicles awaiting repair in conjunction with this use permit. 5. That all ducts, air conditioning equipment and any other mechanical equipment, whether on the structure, on the ground or elsewhere be effectively screened from view with materials architecturally compatible with the main structure.
