PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1831 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />APPROVING THE USE PERMIT FOR EARL ADAMS FILED UNDER UP-79-25 <br />WHEREAS, Doug Okazaki and Earl Adams have applied for a blanket <br />conditional use permit to allow the establishment of an auto- <br />mobile repair service shop in the commercial service building <br />under construction at 3687 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for property is C-S (Commercial-Service) District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission took public testimony concerning the <br />proposed use. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-79-25 subject to the <br />following conditions because all of the required findings <br />could be made: <br />Findings <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is <br />in accord with the objectives df this chapter and the <br />purposes of the district in which the site is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and <br />the conditions under which it would be operated or main- <br />tained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety or welfare, or materially injurious to the prop- <br />erties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />Conditions <br />1. That approval is granted for "Automobile repairing, <br />overhauling and painting" in any part of the building <br />located at 3687 Old Santa Rita Road. <br />2. That the development be substantially as shown on the <br />site plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Division. <br />3. That all repair work be done completely indoors. <br />4. That there be no outdoor storage of vehicles awaiting <br />repair in conjunction with this use permit. <br />5. That all ducts, air conditioning equipment and any other <br />mechanical equipment, whether on the structure, on the <br />ground or elsewhere be effectively screened from view <br />with materials architecturally compatible with the main <br />structure. <br />
