PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1838 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION, CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A REZONING AS FILED UNDER RZ-79-23 WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has applied to rezone an approximately 3.2 acre site located on the north side of Black Avenue between Harvest Road and Crestline Road from the RM-2500 (Multiple-Residential -- 17 units per acre) District to the RL4-4000 (Multiple Residential -- 11 units per acre) District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission took public testimony concerning this rezoning and reviewed all reports and exhibits; and C9HEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution NO. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of January 16, 1980 ~- received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a report from the Director of Community Development dated, December 12, 1979 regarding the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 (e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed environmental assessment, which has previously been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public hearing of the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project and what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken tc ensure that the project will not have a significant impact upon the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
