PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASAPdTOPJ <br />COUNTY OF ALAbFEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1845 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION, CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />APPROVING A USE PERD4IT FOR JOFFNNY & SFFARON DODSON FILED <br />UNDER UP-80-1 <br />WIFEREAS, Johnny & Sharon Dodson have applied for a conditional <br />use permit which would allow them to maintain 15 homing <br />pigeons on their property which is located at 4129 School <br />Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) <br />District; and <br />WFIEREAS, a public hearing was held on February 14, 1980 at which <br />time all pertinent reports, documents and testimony were <br />received. <br />NOW, TFIEREFORE, THE PLANNING COP9MISSIOPF RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-80-1 subject <br />to the following conditions because all of the re- <br />quired findings can be made: <br />Findings: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional <br />use in in accord with the objectives of this <br />chapter and the purposes of the district in <br />which the site is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional <br />use and the conditions under which it would be <br />operated or maintained will not be detrimental <br />to the public health, safety, or welfare, or <br />materially injurious to the properties or im- <br />provements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply <br />with each of the applicable provisions of this <br />chapter. <br />Conditions: <br />1. That no more than eight pigeons be kept on the <br />subject site at any one time. <br />2. That the pigeons be kept in an enclosure at all <br />times that they are on subject property except <br />'-' that the birds can be exercised a maximum of once <br />per week. <br />3. That the coop be moved adjacent to the residence. <br />
