PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1889 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR GOLDEN GATE <br />RACQUETBALL COURTS AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-80-6. <br />WHEREAS, Golden Gate Racquetball Courts has applied for development <br />plan approval for a 33,920 sq. ft. racquetball facility on <br />a 1.23 acre site at Old Hopyard Road just south of I-580; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission took public testimony concerning <br />this application, reviewing all reports and exhibits. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends approval of the develop- <br />ment plan as filed under case PUD-80-6 subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on the <br />development plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning <br />Division except that the parking space shown in front <br />of the entrance on the east side of the building be <br />deleted and an irrigated planter wide enough to <br />accommodate vines and Italian Cypress trees shall be <br />constructed along the northwest side of the building. <br />2. That the developer acknowledges that the City of <br />Pleasanton does not guarantee the availability of <br />sufficient sewer capacity to serve this development <br />by approval of this project and that the developer <br />agrees and acknowledges that building permit approval <br />may be withheld if sewer capacity is found by the <br />City not to be available. <br />3. That the developer submit a final landscape plan to <br />the Planning Division for approval prior to issuance of <br />a building permit. <br />4. That the application as proposed will be subject to <br />additional requirements under the City Fire Code. <br />The applicant is requested to contact the Fire <br />Prevention Bureau for more detailed information. <br />5. That the developer install the 25 ft. driveway to <br />the southwest of the racquetball building from the <br />southeastern to the northwestern property lines of <br />the subject site in conjunction with the construction <br />of the racquetball facility. <br />
