PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1894 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON DENYING A USE PERMIT FOR INTERSTATE <br />UNIFORM SERVICES CORPORATION AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />UP-80-14. <br />WHEREAS, Interstate Uniform Services Corporation has applied for a <br />conditional use permit to allow an addition of 2,500 sq. <br />ft. to the existing nuclear laundry facility at 65 Ray <br />Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-S (Commercial Service) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 9, 1980 at which time <br />all pertinent reports, documents and testimony were <br />reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission requested a performance report <br />be received and reviewed from the State of California <br />prior to considering this application further; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on August 16, 1980 at which <br />time the above performance report was received and <br />reviewed and public input considered; and <br />WHEREAS, after reviewing all material and hearing all testimony <br />the Planning Commission gave the proponent an opportunity <br />to rebut negative testimony given by others and he did <br />not do so. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission denies case UP-80-14 because <br />all required findings could not be made because of <br />insufficient expert testimony on behalf of the applicant. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 13th day August 1980 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: August 13, 1980 <br />
