PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1899 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLAR- <br />ATION FOR JAMES PRICE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE PUD-80-8. <br />WHEREAS, Application of James Price Development Company to rezone <br />from RM-4000 (Multiple-Residential) District to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development) District a 3.2 acre site located <br />on the north side of Black Avenue between Harvest Road and <br />Crestline Road. This application also includes a request <br />for development plan approval for a 34-unit condominium <br />complex proposed to be built at this location. <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held August 13, 1980 and all documents <br />prepared were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted <br />by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution <br />No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of August 13, 1980, <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration <br />in a report from the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development dated August 13, 1980 regarding the aforementioned <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Co~unission was advised by the City Attorney of <br />its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4(e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed environmental assessment, which has previously <br />been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the <br />public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appro- <br />priate for the project and what mitigation measures, if any, <br />must be undertaken to ensure that the project will not have <br />a significant impact upon the environment. <br />/// <br />
