PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1709 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DENYING THE APPEAL <br />OF MARY BARNES TO OPERATE A SWEDISH MASSAGE <br />SERVICE AT HER RESIDENCE AS FILED UNDER <br />Z-78-162. <br />WHEREAS, Mary Barnes has filed an appeal to allow a Swedish Massage <br />Service to be operated in her residence located at 1416 <br />Calle Enrique. The site is zoned PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) District; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed use is a common service, but not one which <br />commonly takes place in a residence (in Pleasanton); and <br />WHEREAS, it would establish a precedent to allow this type of <br />activity as a home occupation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission denies the appeal of Mary Barnes <br />filed under Z-78-162. <br />Section 2.
