PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1713 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF R2-78-6, TEMPORARY SUBDIVISION SIGNS. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the rezoning application to amend Section 2-9.46 of the Ordinance Code relating to temporary subdivision signs; and WHEREAS, on Auqust 9, 1979, the Planning Commission concurred with the staff report recommending certain amendments to Section 2-9.46 of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton dealing with temporary subdivision signs; and WHEREAS, the thrust of that report is that the code as presently written is too liberal with regard to such signs, and that it should be tightened as it pertains to size and number of signs, bonding requirements and the length of time such signs should be allowed to stand; and WHEREAS, the City Council concurred with that position at their meeting of October 3, 1978, and instructed the staff to prepare a draft ordinance incorporating such changes; and WHEREAS, the draft ordinance achieves that goal. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. That the Planning Commission recommends approval to the City Council to amend Section 2-9.46 of the Ordinance Code. Section 2. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
