RESOLUTION NO. 86-328 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION MAKING FINDING UPON DEBT LIMITATION <br /> <br />VALLEY AVENUE EXTENSION ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1988-1 <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> The City Council has directed the preparation of a <br /> report under Section 2981 of the Streets and Highways Code (the <br /> Special Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of <br /> 19Sl) covering the proposed Valley Avenue Extension Assessment <br /> District No. 1988-1. <br /> <br /> The report has been prepared and filed, and a hearing <br />has been held on the report by this Council. <br /> <br /> The public interest, convenience and necessity require <br />the improvement described in the report. <br /> <br /> The project for constructing the improvement <br />feasible, and the lands to be assessed will be able to carry the <br />burden of the proposed assessment. <br /> <br /> The total amount of the principal sum of all unpaid <br />special assessments levied against the parcels proposed to be <br />assessed, plus the principal amount of the special assessment <br />proposed to he levied in Valley Avenue Extension Assessment <br />District No. 1986-1, do not exceed one-half of the total value <br />of parcels proposed to he assessed, all as computed in <br />accordance with Section 2961 of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br /> No majority protest, in writing, has been filed by the <br />owners of property proposed to be assessed in the manner <br />provided in Section 29S0 of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
