PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1715 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED FOR THE CHAMBERLAIN GROUP IS ACCEPTABLE FOR THE PROJECT FILED UNDER PUD-78-5. WHEREAS, the Chamberlain Group has applied for a planned unit development for a 75 lot single family residential subdivision on a 65 acre site located at the eastern end of Arbor Drive in Vintage Hills. The site is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development - Medium Density Resi- dential) District; and WHEREAS, an environmental impact report was completed in 1978 for this development plan; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the environmental impact report which was prepared for this project at the February 20, 1979 meeting to determine if the project would have any significant impacts on the environment, and if so, whether mitigation measures or overriding considerations may be present. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission makes the following findings: 1. That the environmental impact report has been completed in compliance with CEQA and State Guidelines. 2. That the Planning Commission certifies that they have reviewed and considered the information in the environmental impact report. 3. That with the conditions of approval the project would not have any significant adverse impacts on the environment because the conditions of approval reduce any impacts to an insignificant level. Section 2. The Planning Commission hereby incorporates the above findings into a Statement of Overriding Considerations through the provision of needed housing within the City. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
