PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1718 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR DAWN PERRY FILED UNDER UP-79-5. WHEREAS, Dawn Perry has applied for a conditional use permit to allow the operation of a private school, teaching grooming, poise and etiquette at 1811 Santa Rita Road. The property is zoned PUD-O (Planned Unit Development-Office Uses) District. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held March 14, 1979 before the Planning Commission at which time all pertinent reports, documents and testimony were reviewed; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the findings that: A. The proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives of this chapter and the purposes of the district in which the site is located. B. The proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or main- tained will not be detrimental to the public safety or welfare or be materially injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity. C. The proposed Conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-79-5 subject to the following conditions: 1. That this use permit is granted only for an area encompassing approximately 650 sq. ft. of the building located at 1811 Santa Rita Road and that it be only for the purpose of teaching grooming, poise, etiquette and other activities normally associated with a charm school. 2. That there be no more than 25 students and employees on the site at any one time. 3. That the applicant adhere to the signing program established for the building at 1811 Santa Rita Road.
