PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COU~i 1TY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1720 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THEE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON DENYING GP-79-3. <br />WHEREAS, T. K. McManus has applied for a General Plan Amendment to <br />change the land use designation of a 5 acre site located <br />immediately westerly of the terminus of Sutter Gate Avenue <br />and southerly of the Arroyo Mocho Canal from "Parks and <br />Recreation" to "Medium Density Residential;" and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this application and <br />has heard public testimony concerning this; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the proposed <br />change would be detrimental to the orderly development <br />of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. That this Commission recommends to the City Council <br />that the proposed General Plan Amendment, GP-79-3, be <br />denied. <br />Section 2. That this resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 14th day of March, 1979 by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Geppert, Wilson and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: Commissioner Getty <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATED: March 14, 1979 <br />ATTEST: <br />\` ~~~, <br />Robert J.
