PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1722 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING THAT GP-79-1, FILED BY <br />PONDEROSA HOMES FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO <br />CHANGE THE LAND USE BE APPROVED. <br />WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes has applied for a general plan amendment to <br />change the land use designation of a 9.8 acre site located <br />between Hansen Drive and Paseo Santa Cruz immediately west <br />of Valley Avenue from "High Density Residential" to "Medium <br />Density Residential;" and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to review <br />this application on March 14, 1979; and <br />WHEREAS, pertinent reports, documents, maps and testimony were <br />reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after reviewing all available data <br />concludes that the proposed change to the General Plan would <br />be appropriate. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council <br />the adoption of GP-79-1, as petitioned. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 14th day of March, 1979 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Leppert, Getty and Chairman Jamieson <br />NOES: Commissioner Wilson <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: March 14, 1979 <br />ATTEST: <br />Robert .C~Idrr15, Secretary William Jamieson, airman <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM <br />rvey E. evine, City Attorney <br />
