PLANING COMMISSION CITY~OF PLEASANTON _ COUN~Y OF ALAMEDA STAT~ OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 1726 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ACCEPTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED FOR L AND H LAND CO. FILED UNDER PUD-78-1. WHEREAS, L AND H LAND COMPANY has applied for approval of a hillside development consisting of a 10-lot, single- family residentialisubdivision located on a SO acre site northwesterly of the existing terminus of Longview Drive; and WHEREAS, an environmental i~pact was completed in November 1978 for this development plan; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the environmental impact report which was prepared for this project at their meeting of March 14, 1979 to determine if the project would have any significant impacts on the environment, and if so, whether mitigation measures or overriding considerations may',be present. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNINGICOMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Planning Com~ission makes the following findings: 1. That the Environmental Impact Report for the subject planned unit development has been completed in compliance with CEQA and State Guidelines. 2. That the Planning Commission has reviewed and considered the information contained in the Environmental Impact Report prior to the approval of the project. 3. That there arelin the Environmental Impact Report certain adverse impacts which may be significant but that condition$ of approval which will be attached to the case reducing all but one of these impacts to an insigifican~ level. The one impact which can't be mitigated is the reduction in woodland habitat but that there ',are overriding social and economic reasons for approving the project despite removal of the vegetation' Section 2: That the Planning Commission hereby incorporates the above findings'into a Statement of Overriding Considerations concerning social and economic reasons, Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage an~ adoption.
