PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1741 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION WAIVING <br />THE REQUIREMENT TO PREPARE A PARCEL MAP FOR <br />PROPERTY OWNED BY WILLIAM T. MARSH. <br />WHEREAS, in 1966, when the state was purchasing land for the I-680 <br />freeway, they split land owned by William T. Marsh just <br />south of Sunol Boulevard into two separate parcels; and <br />WHEREAS, this was done without receiving subdivision approval from <br />the City of Pleasanton, and no parcel map was ever prepared <br />for this subdivision; and <br />WHEREAS, the westernmost of the two parcels is now for sale and <br />the title company is requiring legitimization of the <br />subdivision as a condition of issuing title insurance <br />on that lot; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Marsh, through his representative, Larry Osborne, is <br />requesting that the City ,take whatever action. is necessary <br />to approve the subdivision. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES'AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission.waives the requirements of the <br />State Subdivision Map Act pertaininEl'to the„preparation <br />and filing of a parcel map for Assessor's Parcels <br />946-3052-7 and 946-3052-10. <br />Section 2.
