PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1747 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL <br />PRE ZONING OF A 1.01 ACRE PARCEL AS FILED UNDER <br />RZ-79-8. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone a 1.01 acre <br />parcel of land located at 6248 Amber Lane to the R-1-40,000 <br />(Single Family Residential) District or to any other zoning <br />district in conformance with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, Joe Macias, owner of the 1.01 acre parcel located at <br />6248 Amber Lane, is seeking annexation to the City of <br />Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS, prior to finalization of that annexation, the property <br />should be prezoned sp that it will have City of Pleasanton <br />zoning on it if it becomes part of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is showm on the General Plan as "Low Density <br />Residential;" and <br />WHEREAS, because of this General Flan designation, the size of <br />the parcel and the e~cisting land use (one single family <br />residence with no live shock or poultry), R-1-40,000 <br />would, in the staff's opinion, be appropriate zoning for <br />the property; and <br />WHEREAS, prior to reviewing this g~rezoning, the Planning Commission <br />made the finding that th~ negative declaration prepared <br />April 18, 1979, for this project was reviewed and accepted <br />by the Planning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 9, 1979, the Planning Commission held a public <br />hearing to review te$timbny, maps and reports. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING (,9OMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council <br />the adoption of RZ-79-8, as petitioned. <br />/~/ <br />
