PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1752 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING THAT GP-79-10, <br />AN AMENDMENT TO THE OPEN SPACE AND CONSERVATION <br />ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON BE APPROVED. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has made application to change the <br />Open Space and Conservation Element of the General Plan and <br />the General Plan designation of the easternmost approxi- <br />mately one-fifth (11-1/2 acres) of the 54 acre parcel <br />located east of Sunol Boulevard between Mission Drive and <br />the future Pico Avenue from "Open Space-Parks and <br />Recreation" to "Medium Density Residential" and "Open <br />Space-Public Health and Safety;" and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to <br />review this application June 13, 1979; and <br />WHEREAS, all pertinent reports, documents, maps and testimony were <br />reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after reviewing all available <br />data concluded that the proposed change to the Open <br />Space and Conservation Element of the General Plan <br />would be appropriate. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council <br />the adoption of GP-79-10 as petitioned. <br />Section 2.
