PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 1755 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR DEWITT WILSON FILED UNDER PUD-79-4. WHEREAS, .DeWitt Wilson has applied for a rezoning for a 4.9 acre site located along the south side of Junipero Street between Sunol Boulevard and Sonoma Drive from the RM-4000 (Multiple-Residential) and S (Study) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and for approval of a development plan for a 40-unit garden court-type single family residential complex on the site; and WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of June 13, 1979 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and Community Development dated June 1, 1979 regarding the aforementioned project; and ~ WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4(e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed environmental assessment, which has previously been published in the Pleasanton Times, at the time of the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and preparation of Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if a Negative Declaration is appro- priate for the project and what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to ensure that the project will not have a significant impact upon the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
