PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1758 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT, PONDEROSA HOMES FILED UNDER GP-79-9. <br />WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes has applied for an amendment to the Land <br />Use Element of the General Plan which would comprehen- <br />sively change the land use designation on a 240 acre <br />site located between I-680 and Hopyard Road north and <br />west of the existing development along Hansen Drive and <br />Via Quito. The changes would remove the planned school <br />sites and rearrange the proposed locations of the parks, <br />high density residential and medium density residential <br />development on the site; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the proposed <br />change would not be detrimental to the orderly develop- <br />ment of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this application and <br />heard public testimony concerning this application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. That this Commission recommends to the City Council that <br />the proposed General Plan Amendment, GP-79-9, be approved. <br />Section 2.
