PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1762 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A <br />GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FILED UNDER GP-79-7. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the application to <br />change the land use designation of a 6 acre parcel of land <br />located at the southwest corner of Pico Avenue and Vineyard <br />Avenue from "Parks and Recreation" to "Medium Density <br />Residential" and also reviewed a change in the land use <br />designation of the adjacent 10 acre parcel of land (located <br />immediately easterly of the Mavis Drive, Ewing Drive, <br />Rowell Lane residential area; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the proposed <br />changes would not be detrimental to the orderly development <br />of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this application and <br />heard public testimony concerning this; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that all residents <br />within 300 feet of both properties were notified. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />.- Section 1. That this Commission recommends to the City Council that <br />both properties included in this resolution be changed to <br />"Low Density Residential." <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 11th day of July, 1979 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Getty, Jamieson and Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Geppert and Wilson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: Secretary Harris <br />DATE: July 11, 1979 <br />ATTEST: <br />l~ / / /N / , <br />Robert ris, ecretary <br />A ED AS .
