PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1781 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT THE <br />74.5 ACRE SITE LOCATED WEST OF FOOTHILL ROAD AND NORTH <br />OF LONGVIEW DRIVE BE REZONED HPD (HILLSIDE PLANNED <br />DEVELOPMENT). <br />WHEREAS, Joe Boatright and Ray Goodrich have applied for rezoning <br />to PUD and development plan approval for a residential <br />planned unit development on 55 acres of the 74.5 acre <br />site located west of Foothill Road and north of Longview <br />Drive or for the rezoning of the entire 74.5 acres to <br />any other designation consistent with the General Plan; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the site is zoned A (Agricultural) District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission took public testimony concerning <br />this rezoning and reviewed all reports and exhibits; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the HPD <br />(Hillside Planned Development) District is in conformance <br />with the General Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. That the Planning Commission recommends the entire 74.5 <br />acre site located west of Foothill Road and north of Longview <br />Drive be rezoned HPD (Hillside Planned Development) District. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 8th day of August, 1979 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioner Leppert, Getty, Wilson, and Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: Commissioner Jamieson <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: Secretary Barris <br />DATE: August 9, 1979 <br />ATTEST <br />Robert arris, Secretary <br />APPV/ED AS TO FORM <br />Harvey E.
