PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1783 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT CHANGE AS FILED UNDER GP-79-14. <br />WHEREAS, Joseph E. Boatright has applied for an amendment to the <br />General Plan Amendment which would include a 74.5 acre <br />parcel of land located on the west side of Foothill Road <br />between Bernal Avenue and Longview Drive as being within <br />the "Urbanization Line" on the Land Use Map of the General <br />Plan to exempt development at a density of one unit per <br />five acres from the limitations imposed by the Urbani- <br />zation Line; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined tl'.iat the proposed <br />change would not be detrimental to the orderly development <br />of the city; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this application and <br />heard public testimony concerning this. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />r Section 1. That this Commission recommends to the City Council <br />that the proposed General Plan Amendment, GP-79-14 be <br />approved. <br />Section 2.
