PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1785 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE TAUBMAN COMPANY, <br />INC. APPLICATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FILED <br />UNDER GP-79-15. <br />WHEREAS, the Taubman Company has applied for a general plan <br />amendment to change the land use designation on a <br />portion of the 26 acre parcel located on the north- <br />east corner of Foothill Road and Stoneridge Drive <br />from "Public and Institutional" to "Commercial and <br />Offices"; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the <br />proposed change would not be detrimental to the orderly <br />development of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this application <br />and heard public testimony concerning this. <br />-- NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That this Commission recommends to the City Council <br />that the proposed General Plan Amendment, GP-79-15 be <br />approved. <br />Section 2.
