PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1787 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT AS FILED UNDER <br />GP-79-16 <br />WHEREAS, J. Jack Bras, has applied for an amendment to the General <br />Plan which would change the land use designation of a 2 acre <br />parcel of land located on the northeast corner of Sunol <br />Boulevard and Happy Valley Road from "Industrial" to <br />"Commercial and Offices" or to any other designation the <br />Planning Commission deems appropriate; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the proposed <br />change would not be detrimental to the orderly development <br />of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this application and <br />heard public testimony concerning this. <br />NOW, THEREFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. That this Commission recommends to the City Council that <br />the proposed general plan amendment, GP-79-16 be approved. <br />Section 2.
