PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF (CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1790 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING DENIAL <br />OF A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FILED UNDER GP-79-17. <br />WHEREAS, Iver Hilde and Walter R. Wallner have applied for an <br />amendment to the Generals Plan which would change the land <br />use designation of the one acre parcel of land located on <br />the east side of Santa Rita Road immediately north of the <br />fire station from "High 'Density Residential" to "Commercial <br />and Offices;" and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission may recommend the above change or <br />any other designation it deems appropriate; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to review <br />this application on August 8, 1979; and <br />WHEREAS, all pertinent reports, documents, maps and testimony were <br />reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission spoke to concerns of losing multiple <br />rental unit sites; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission felt that the existing designation <br />is more appropriate for the property than "Commercial and <br />Offices." <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends denial of GP-79-17 as <br />petitioned. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 8th day of August, 1979 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners~Geppert, Getty, Wilson and Chairman Doherty <br />NOES: Commissioner Jamieson <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: Secretary Harris <br />DATE: August 8, 1979 <br />ATTEST : Ir~ <br />~~ <br />Robert J. is, Secretary <br />APP AS TO~ R~ <br />j ~-~s^~++.6 <br />Harvey E.
