PLANNIN COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY F ALAMEDA <br />STATE 0 CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1603 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PL~NNING COMMISSION DECLINING <br />TO INITIATE AN ORDINAN E AMENDMENT TO ALLOW THE SALE <br />OF FOOD IN C-F DISTRIC SERVICE STATIONS. <br />WHEREAS, Mobil Oil Company requ~sted a rezoning of their service <br />station property at 53 1 Hopyard Road from C-F to C-S <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this re~oning request was to allow sale <br />of "general merchandis items; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 9, 1977, t~e Planning Commission asked the <br />staff to further study the types of items to be sold in <br />service stations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commissio on December 14, 1977, held a <br />public hearing to revi w the propooed draft ordinance which <br />would allow sales as a conditional use in the C-S and <br />C-F Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commiss <br />ordinance amendment <br />curbing expansion of <br />was concerned that this proposed <br />d not have the necessary controls <br />d sales. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING <br />Section 1. The Planning Commiss <br />amendment as proposed <br />SIGN RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />declines to initiate the ordinance <br />r RZ-77-18. <br />Section 2.
