PLANNING COMMISSION City of Pleasanton County of Alameda State of California RESOLUTION N0. 1609 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THE ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO DELETE THE PROHIBITION AGAINST CERTAIN RESTAURANTS IN THE I-P (INDUSTRIAL PARK) AND I-G (GENERAL INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICTS. WHEREAS, at the December 14, 1977, Planning Commission meeting, a request to review an ordinance amendment which would allow entertainment in conjunction with restaurant operations in the I-P and I-G Industrial Districts was discussed; and WHEREAS, at that hearing, the Planning Commission initiated an ordinance amendment which would remove the prohibition against entertainment in restaurants in the I-P and I-G Districts; and WHEREAS, on January 11, 1978, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to review a draft ordinance which would amend the code to allow such a use in the I-P and I-G Districts; and WHEREAS, all pertinent documents, reports, and testimony were reviewed. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council the adoption of an ordinance amendment per the draft ordi- nance attached hereto and made a part of this resolution by reference. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
