PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1617 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR BOB COMBS AND JOHN DODSON FILED UNDER UP-76-4. <br />WHEREAS, Bob Combs and John Dodson have applied for a conditional <br />use permit to establish an automobile repair service in a <br />commercial service building at 3657 Old Santa Rita Road; <br />zoning for the property is C-S (Commercial Service) Dis- <br />trict; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 8, 1978, when all per- <br />tinent reports, maps, testimony and documents were reviewed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is <br />in accord with the objectives of this chapter and the <br />purposes of the district in which the site is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and <br />the conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety or welfare, or be materially injurious to pro- <br />perties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-78-4, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on the <br />site plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Depart- <br />ment. <br />2. That the building not be in any way occupied, even for <br />storage purposes, prior to final inspection and ap- <br />proval by the City. <br />3. That there be no storage of any type in the setback <br />area between the building and the southern property line <br />of the subject property. <br />-1- <br />
