PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1621 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FINDING CONFORMITY WITH THE GENERAL PLAN FOR CONVEYANCE OF A REMNANT OF PROPERTY. WHEREAS, Section 65402 (a) of the Government Code of the State of California requires that no real property may be acquired for any public purpose nor may any public property be disposed of until the Planning Commission has reported to the City Council as to the conformity of such actions with the General Plan; and WHEREAS, as a part of the acquisition of right-of-way for Stoneridge Drive, east of Interstate 680, a parcel of land owned by Vorelco, Inc. would be left without access; and WHEREAS, the City owns a 2,384 sq. ft. remnant of a 3.65+ acre parcel acquired by the City for the Stoneridge Drive project; and WHEREAS, conveyance of said remnant piece to Vorelco would avoid creation of a land locked parcel and thus avoid severance damages should comdemnation be required; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on March 8, 1978, reviewed the conveyance of property in accordance with the requirements of Section 65402 (a) of the Government Code of the State of California. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the conveyance of the remnant piece of property, as shown as Parcel "C", is not needed for street right-of-way purposes for construction of Stoneridge Drive and its transfer to neighboring property owners is in conformity with the General Plan. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
