CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-312 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON FIREFIGHTERS <br /> INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS, LOCAL 1974, <br /> AND FIXING SALARIES AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR <br /> ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE <br /> 1986-87 BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager <br /> as employer representative of the City Council, and <br /> representatives of the Pleasanton Firefighters <br /> International Association of Firefighters, Local 1974, <br /> have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard <br /> to wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of <br /> employment for members of the Pleasanton Firefighters <br /> International Association of Firefighters, Local 1974; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process, <br /> a Memorandum of Understanding dated July 3, 1986, was <br /> entered into between the City Manager and <br /> representatives of the Pleasanton Firefighters <br /> International Association of Fire fighters, Local 1974; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the <br /> City Council at the regular meeting of July 1, 1986; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between <br /> the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton <br /> Firefighters International Association of Firefighters, <br /> Local 1974, for a term commencing July 1, 1986 through <br /> June 30, 1988, attached hereto as Exhibit A and <br /> incorporated herein by reference, is hereby accepted by <br /> the City Council of the City of Pleasanton subject to <br /> the terms and conditions contained in the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding. <br /> <br />Section 2: The employees class titles and salary ranges to be <br /> paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the <br /> Pleasanton Firefighters International Association of <br /> Firefighters, Local 1974, during the period July 1, 1986 <br /> through June 30, 1988, shall be set forth in the <br /> Memorandum of Understanding, attached hereto as Exhibit <br /> A and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
